SHHH…OBEY!, is a clowning performance developed from a university module and performed at the Chichester Fringe in 2025 by Quiet Chaos Collective. We performed to a full paying crowd and received great feedback on our first clowning troupe piece and our fabulous ties!
The 35-minute performance follows a bunch of clowns in a library, a mischievous book worm, a disgruntled librarian, a scary dictator and a lot of rule breaking. A show that will make you laugh, gasp and question!
Quiet Chaos Collective was a wonderful company to be a part of and create this comedic, political commentary piece with about dictatorship and power. It was the beginning of my self-discovery towards my passion for clowning and playing with who my clown is. It furthered my love of performing the theatrical style, inspiring me to pursue my technical skills and learn more about clowning.
